Ajith's 'Veeram' Audio Launch on 7 December?

With less than two months left for Pongal, Ajith's upcoming film "Veeram" has begun to hog the limelight.

The film's teaser was recently released in theatres and on the internet, much to the delight of fans. The small video generated a lot of hype among the audience.

With Ajith's latest flick "Arrambam" turning out to be a blockbuster; the focus has now shifted to "Veeram."

The film's shooting is expected to be completed soon and the post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace so that the film can be released on time. It has been officially confirmed that the film will hit screens during Pongal festival in January, 2014. An exact release date is yet to be announced, though some reports claim that the film will arrive on 10 January.

But for the fans, celebrations will begin in December itself. Buzz is that the much-awaited music launch of "Veeram" is all set to take place in December. Sources told Behindwoods that the audio might be launched on 7 December, although there is no official confirmation on the same. The website reports that the music launch will not be a grand affair, similar in case of other Ajith films, but special posters will be posted on the eve of the audio launch. The film's trailer is likely to be launched on the same day as the audio release.

Directed by "Siruthai" Siva, "Veeram" is touted to be a commercial entertainer set to impress Ajith's fans. The film's story revolves around Ajith and his four brothers. While Thala appears as the oldest brother, racer Suhail Chandhok plays the role of the youngest brother. Vidharth of "Mynaa" fame, "Anbu" actor Bala and "Naanga" actor Munish are donning the role of his other brothers.

Tamannah plays the female lead for the first time in an Ajith film. The other cast members include Santhanam, Nassar, Ramesh Khanna, Vidyullekha Raman and Devadarshini.

However, "Veeram" will not have a solo release in January, 2014. The film is all set to clash with Vijay's "Jilla" and Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan." Interestingly, the audio launch dates of these two films will be happening in December. "Kochadaiiyaan" album release has been confirmed for 12 December, whereas "Jilla" audio might be out on 15 Dece

Ajith in a romantic mood

Ajith in a romantic mood
The last two releases of Ajith may not have had much of romance it, courtesy the star's bad boy role, but it looks like Veeram will come as a whiff of fresh air for his fans. The last time the actor actually shook a leg was for Mankatha in which he had a few duet numbers with Trisha.

In Veeram, the actor has a duet with Tamannaah and if a recent poster is to go by, the song was shot in Switzerland. So, it looks like Ajith's fans might have a reason to look forward to this Pongal, to see their Thala in a romantic mood.
