Q: Yuvan Shankar Raja, your cousin, is the music director for Masss. Your brother Premgi is usually involved in the music for your films.
VP: It was completely Yuvan Shankar Raja’s work in this film. Normally, Premgi makes sure he’s available when the re-recording is happening but this time he was available only for two days as he was shooting for another film. Bhavatharini also helped Yuvan in this film for the BGM as she was available. In my films, all the cousins come together – for Mankatha, Yuvan, Premgi, Karthik Raja and Bhavatharini, all got together and worked.
