Venkat Prabhu: Here in Masss we have tried Ilaiyaraaja kind of background score in Yuvan’s style. Right from the beginning, I told Yuvan that the film demands his powerful music and when he saw Masss, he agreed that his presence is needed throughout and has done a remarkable job. I think, Yuvan disappointed me in his 100th film Biriyani but in Masss he has compensated it. Right from the fourth reel to the end of the film, Yuvan has given a musical journey and I’d say the background score in Masss will be one of his best works in recent times.
