Kannada actor Avinash, who is well known to Tamil audience with his movies like Chandramukhi, Siruthai, Siddhu 2, Kuppi, Poi and others, is all set to make his appearance in Kollywood's forthcoming movie Veeram. It is reported that the actor will be seen in an antagonist role in the movie, which features Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Speaking to a leading daily actor Avinash said, "I play a character, who has become vengeful due to poverty, and is willing to do anything wrong for his own benefit." He also said the role is very interesting and challenging. Veeram directed by Siva of Siruthai fame is slated to release for Pongal festival in January 2014. Avinash has also worked with director Siva in Siruthai, which was released in 2011. It is said that Avinash will play a strong and powerful villain along with Nassar and others. The crew released the teaser of the movie recently. They have also revealed that Veeram is an out and out action entertainer. Apart from Ajith Kumar, it also features Tamanna Bhatia, Santhanam, Suza Kumar, Vidharth, Pradeep Rawat, Ramesh Khanna Appukutty, Bala, Munish, Abhinaya and others in the lead cast.
