Yuvan's ode to MJ for Suriya 'Masss' - Sify
Yuvan Shankar Raja made a rare public apperance and announcement at the Ritz Icon Awards in Chennai on Sunday night. When asked whether if he is a fan of Michael Jackson, Yuvan said he grew up on MJ music and has been hugely inspired by him.
Yuvan who is currently doing Suriya’s Venkat Prabhu directed Masss, also said he will be doing a tribute to MJ in the film. Yuvan said : “MJ is a big inspiration for me. So as a tribute to him, I ‘am in the process of doing a MJ Thriller like song in Masss.”
Venkat Prabhu who was present on the occasion later said it will suit his storyline. Masss is said to be a horror comedy and a song which is likely to be sung by Yuvan himself may be in tune with the film’s theme.
Masss has Suriya, Nayanthara, Amy Jackson, Premgi Amaran and Madhusoodanan as the villain. The shoot of the film is currently taking place and it is slotted as a big summer release by its
producers Studio Green.
